AMTA-AL Delegates

Every year AMTA-Alabama Chapter sends up totwo Delegates to the AMTA National Convention to represent our state chapter in the Assembly of Delegates.

Delegates serve as National-level volunteers and have several responsibilities they must fulfill during their term.

2017-2018 Delegates

Krissy Warren is a 2012 graduate of The Birmingham School of Massage. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of North Alabama in 2000 and opened her own business in Homewood, Alabama in 2013. She has been a member of AMTA since graduation. Krissy has stayed active with the Birmingham School of Massage and teaches business and ethics there while growing her own business.

Laura Nelson has been a massage therapist since 1998 and has taught massage therapy for Gadsden State Community College since 2006, and is currently a NCBTMB Continuing Education Provider. In addition, she holds a Master in Education Management and a Bachelor in Human Resource Management. She is drawn to motivated and self-driven people who want more out of life and served as an item writer for the NCBTMB from 2008-2010.At home, Laura has a beautiful daughter and a wonderful, hardworking husband. Her passion is to help others with their lifetime dreams and goals of health, wellness, and prosperity. She is thrilled to incorporate her love for massage therapy into another level of helping people with wellness and becoming all that God intended for them.
